The latest entry to the NACD PTO family is our spring-loaded unit which utilizes an automotive style clutch to fit gas and diesel engines used in marine, industrial, construction, brush chipper and irrigation applications.
The unit ships with a torsionally dampened automotive style spring loaded clutch which compensates for wear with a simple adjustment made on the externally located ball stud.
Due to the arrangement of our two sealed for life main bearings we have eliminated the need for an engine mounted pilot bearing. What does this mean to you? Ease of installation, extended up time, no longer limited by odd pilot bearing sizes and no more pilot bearing failures due to long engine idle time with the clutch disengaged.
